The Emir of the North witnesses the signing of the agreement between health affairs and the “Sakina” Association
Today, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Border Region, witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the health affairs in the region, represented by its director, Alwan Al-Shamrani, and the “Sakina” Association for Promoting Mental Health, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Intisar Al-Anzi.
The agreement includes enabling the association to establish a development program for a halfway house with the aim of rehabilitating addicts who have undergone a treatment program at the mental health complex in Arar, through the implementation of rehabilitative and developmental courses, Hajj and Umrah trips, sports programs, recreational trips, and craft and vocational courses.
His Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan appreciated the efforts made by the health affairs in the region and the “Sakina” Association to promote mental health and psychological support programs, in addition to bridging the gap in mental health services. And to reach a society whose members enjoy psychological health and a good quality of life in accordance with the goals of “Saudi Vision 2030,” urging commitment to the principles and concepts of Saudi Vision 2030, which with its directions, goals, and programs must constitute a reference for all plans and activities in the region.
