The Entertainment Software Association’s Voice E3 exhibition is determined to return in 2023 in physical and online parallel mode

The annual E3 electronic entertainment exhibition can be said to be ill-fated in recent years. First, it was completely cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. After it was changed to an online event in 2021, this year’s E3 2022 was completely cancelled once more. The good news is that according toWashington Post reportEntertainment Software Association (ESA) president and CEO Stan Pierre-Louis has made it clear that E3 will return in 2023 in a physical and online mode.

In the years that E3 has been partially or completely suspended, players have begun to focus on the Summer Game Fest, hosted and hosted by Geoff Keighley, which has been held for three consecutive years and is expected to start the 2022 event in the near future. Festival has rightfully been seen as E3’s number one opponent over the years.

Regarding the challenges that the summer game festival may bring, Stan Pierre-Louis believes that the game industry can still tolerate “traditional methods”, and mentioned: “I think there is still some room for physical exhibitions, and I agree with the importance of digital formats. I think by combining the two, we can achieve the key elements that the E3 exhibition needs to have.” Explain the particularity of the physical exhibition in the eyes of E3.

However, the biggest challenge of E3 at present is how to convince and attract manufacturers and viewers to join once more following three years of silence, especially following the success of the Summer Game Festival.
