The exclusive detail that Comunicaciones shows off in the Champions Cup

Comunicaciones will face Monterrey of Mexico on Thursday, February 15 at the BBVA stadium for the second leg of the first round of the Concacaf Champions Cup.
The white team, despite having lost 4-1 in the first leg and being one and a half feet out of the most important competition at the club level in the area, is the only representative of Guatemala and Concacaf shared a singular detail on social networks that monopolized the attention of the fans of the cream team.
In a publication made by the North American, Central American and Caribbean Football Confederation (Concacaf), The entity highlighted the different institutions that can boast the competition’s champion patch.
Teams like América, Monterrey, Saprissa and Comunicaciones themselves are the ones that appear with the patch that classifies them as champions of the Champions Cup.
In fact, the patch was already worn by Comunicaciones in the first leg match played at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores. It was noticeable on the right sleeve of the white players during the first episode against Rayados.
This type of recognition is carried by only 9 of the 27 participating teams, since only the champions of any edition can wear it.
The other eight that complete the list are: América, Monterrey, Pahuca, Toluca, Chivas, Tigres, Alajuelense and Saprissa.
It will be next February 15 that Comunicaciones will try to overcome the adverse score against Monterrey in Mexico.
The duel is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m. at the BBVA stadium in Monterrey.
