The exhibition dedicated to well-being, health and nutrition starts

Starting at 4:00 p.m. today and until tomorrow, the first edition of the Health, Well-being and Food Expo will be held at the Gala de Resistencia Convention Center. With proposals for the whole family, there will be talks, workshops, training and recreational activities.

‘The purpose is to inform and raise awareness about different alternatives that allow for the incorporation of healthy habits,’ explains Christian Balbuena, from the organization.

The referent indicated that all the spaces were designed to encourage the prevention of diseases, improve living conditions and care for oneself.

BY SECTORS

Everything related to healthy living will be grouped in the same sector and gastronomy in another part of the large property of Fray Bertaca 1,750.

The Ministry of Public Health will install assistance points with doctors and nurses, vital signs control, HIV test, blood glucose and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes, as well as post-vaccination for adults and children.

VARIOUS TALKS

Among the options of interest are the talks on food labeling, on postural correction and its impact on digestion (by the kinesiologist Mauricio Gavioli), nutrition, and dedicated to how to heal internally (by the therapist Guillermo Arce).

Brain yoga classes will also be taught by members of the Chaco Association of the specialty, and aerobics classes with staff from New My Gym.

MOVING BODY

On the need to combat a sedentary lifestyle, Balbuena points out: “There are people who go to the gym not to have an ideal figure but to maintain a rhythm of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, which improves their quality.”
