Friederike Mayröckers (1924-2021) Literature expands spaces, her poetry cuts paths through hardened zones. The writing work of the Viennese poet herself was also extensive, if you look at the densely layered mountains of notes in her study. In cooperation with the Alte Schmiede and the Graz Authors’ Assembly, the Alternating Current Gallery is now bringing the poet’s work to life in the artistic works of a subsequent generation.
