Sources within the Ministry of Education and Technical Education revealed the truth about what was circulated on social media and some websites during the past hours, regarding the introduction of the semester exams date in schools for transfer classes, after the spread of infections with the syncytial virus among students in schools during the past days.
The sources confirmed that everything that is being circulated about presenting the date of the first-term exams has no basis in truth, and that the date of the first-semester exams will be held as specified in the time map that was announced before the beginning of the current academic year. The Minister of Education and Technical Education may make any decisions regarding introducing or changing the date of exams for any grade.
First semester exams date
The sources indicated that the exams for the first semester will be held as specified by Sunday, the 14th of next January, according to what is in the time map for the current academic year, as it was decided that these exams will end on the 28th of January, provided that the vacation begins. The middle of the academic year is on Saturday, January 28, and will last for two weeks, ending on the 9th of February, provided that the second semester begins in all schools on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
The sources confirmed that the situation is stable in all schools in the republic, and that the ministry pays great attention to confronting any infectious disease in all educational stages, while tightening precautionary measures in order to preserve the safety and lives of students and those in charge of the educational process, noting that cases of syncytial virus infection among students do not necessitate.
