The Haramain Express issued an explanatory statement from the Saudi-Spanish Railway Project Company, which operates the Haramain Train, at around two o’clock in the morning today, Wednesday, that a traffic accident occurred inside the campus of the Haramain Express Railway at the intersection of Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Road in Jeddah Governorate.
He added that the accident occurred as a result of the fall of one of the vehicles inside the precincts of the railway and its burning, and that no deaths resulted. Where the emergency plan was activated, communication with the concerned authorities was carried out, and the injured were transported to receive the necessary first aid.
The statement added, “The inventory of the damage has been completed and work has begun to repair it, and this will not have any impact on the movement of trains and the schedule of flights.”
