“We regret to inform you that Lev Solomonovich Sankin, an actor of our theater and a real favorite of the older generation of the Perm theater audience, passed away yesterday. The loss of Lev Solomonovich is a bitter loss for all who knew him. The Theater-Theater team expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Lev Solomonovich,” write the theater staff.
Lev Sankin came to the theater in the mid-60s. He played more than 40 roles of the world repertoire: from William Shakespeare to Vasily Sigarev, from Lope de Vega to Alexander Galin, from Carlo Goldoni to Vadim Kozhevnikov. Also, Lev Solomonovich starred in the films “The Pet”, “Dust of Time” and in the TV series “Father’s Coast”. Farewell to the actor will take place on July 7 at 13.00 at Startseva, 61 (Great Hall).
