The fastest Indian starring Sir Anthony Hopkins on the Danube today

Burt Munro (Sir Anthony Hopkins) lives in a small town behind the back of a god, somewhere in New Zealand in the 1960s. He has created his own world, which has two main characters – him and his 1920s Indian motorcycle.

He dedicates his whole life to perfecting the bike, and when he feels he’s done with it, he hits the big road. One of the most famous speedways in the world is the salt flats of Bonneville, Utah.

The road is long, and in the fast-paced America of the 60s, the man from the end of the world drives as if he were on an alien planet. Munro’s strange and open nature, even in his fanaticism, his pure desires help him through the difficulties; wherever his journey takes him, he always leaves a mark on the people he comes in contact with.

At the end of his journey full of obstacles until the last moment, success awaits him. One of the oldest racers in the world sets a new speed record with his Indian motorcycle, which no one has been able to beat since 1967.

The 127-minute New Zealand-American-Swiss-Japanese biographical film made in 2005 stars Sir Anthony Hopkins and is directed by Roger Donaldson, who is also the film’s producer and co-screenwriter.
