While the Southern Police Station referred the investigation file with a citizen for setting fire to a vehicle and the death of its driver as a result of his injuries inside the Southern Housing Project parking lot, to the Public Prosecution, after completing the regular procedures, after the “Southern Police” succeeded in apprehending the perpetrator in less than 24 hours. Carrying out his heinous crime, betraying his friend and burning his car, leaving him to struggle with death.
The victim’s father, Taha Qarhadi, revealed new information to “Okaz”, in which he confirmed that the perpetrator was accompanying the victim, his son (Bandar), and sleeping in his house in the Al-Sanabel neighborhood, after he finally got to know him. He stressed that he would not hesitate to pursue his son’s right to exact revenge on the killer.
He said, “My family and I lived in the southern housing project, before I built my home in the Al-Sanabel neighborhood, and I allocated apartments for my children, including my son Bandar, who works for Saudi Airlines as a co-pilot, and his family circumstances necessitated that he transfer his work to ground services, then he got to know me.” culprit.”
Qarhadi added: “My son Bandar and his companion (the perpetrator) came one day to the house, and Bandar asked his mother to prepare southern food for a guest he had in his apartment, and I came to greet him, and if I saw a suspicious person, his looks were unsteady, and I denounced my son for bringing him home.” His response was humane, and he confirms that he is his friend and a person with circumstances, and he needs a friend to help him in his life, and he sympathizes with him for that, befriending him, and he used to sleep with him in the house as his friend, but I was not comfortable with him.
And he indicates that he saw his son, before the accident, bringing him a dinner consisting of “hamburger” and “shawarma”, but he left it hanging on the door of his house, and he went down from the building, “When I asked him about his destination, he mentioned to me that he had received a call from a friend to help him, after he was exposed That friend had a malfunction in his vehicle, and he will charge the battery and return quickly, so I asked him not to be late, and I went to sleep, and I did not know that he had not returned home.
Qarhadi added: “On the second day, I received a call from a person who indicated that he was an employee at King Abdulaziz Hospital, and he asked me to come because my son had a traffic accident, and another person was with him, and he must come to get his affairs done, and when I came, I searched for Bandar and did not find him, until someone came and did By revealing a cover for a deceased person who appears to be burning.”
Qarhadi added, “The employee indicated that he was my son Bandar, but I refused that, as he did not look like him after his features changed due to the fire.”
And he stated, saying: “I left while I was in abnormal circumstances. My heart confirms that this person is Bandar, but my mind refuses that. Until the second day, at nine in the morning, I received a call, and I was asked to come to the competent authority, and there it was confirmed that that person is my son Bandar, whom I knew.” Kindness and good treatment of him, and he was righteous to his parents, and the Lord Almighty bears witness to that, and I saw nothing but good from him, the mercies of my Lord upon him.

And he explained – resisting himself and preventing her from crying – that his son Bandar, who is married and has two sons, was betrayed by those who were kind to him, tried to help him, entrusted him with himself, and brought him into his house in a horrible incident that is alien to our society. And he noted by saying: “I burn the pleasure of my liver while it is alive, and I do not wish anyone to live what my family and I lived through, nor for any father or mother to live the pain that afflicted me. And I ask the Lord Almighty to write Bandar with the martyrs.
Qarhadi was surprised by what was shown in the video clip that showed his son Bandar screaming in pain and walking on his feet, while no one helped him and saved him, as Akl does not believe that his burnt son walked on his feet until he reached the neighborhood health center, which he found closed to return.
