The FDJ Corporate Foundation and the Secours Populaire Français, with the support of Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), are renewing the “Forgotten Sport” scheme for the 16th year. The latter allows 1,000 young people accompanied by the Secours populaire français to discover the Tour de France or the Tour de France Women with Zwift and to learn about BMX, during a fun and festive day.

Since 2008, the FDJ Corporate Foundation has been working alongside the Secours populaire français on this project, which every summer is a meeting expected by these young people to discover the Tour de France. The objective is to promote access to leisure and sport for young people who do not necessarily have the chance to go on vacation.

For the first time, the “Forgotten Sports” system will also be present on the Women’s Tour de France with Zwift.

On the Tour de France, the operation of the Secours populaire français is available this year on eleven stages instead of ten in previous years.

On each of them, a space is dedicated to the reception of young people accompanied by the Secours populaire français, who can watch the passage of the runners and the publicity caravan. The volunteers of the Secours populaire français also plan fun workshops such as the discovery of cycling professions.

The eleven stages of 2023:

-July 4, Dax/Nogaro
-July 7, Mont de Marsan/Bordeaux
-July 8, Libourne/Limoges
-July 11, Vulcania/Issoire
-July 12, Clermont-Ferrand/Moulins
