The Fed has opted for a further 25 basis point increase in its key rates, the federal funds, in the 5%-5.25% range. And, in all likelihood, the US central bank, the Federal Reserve, will leave it at that. It will no longer increase its key rates in the future. A situation that analysts call the “pivot”!
