The Fight Against Water Stress in Morocco: Achievements and Prospects – A Collaborative Approach for Sustainable Solutions

Organized by the Junior Chamber International of Rabat (JCI RABAT) and MAKESENSE SENEGAL under the theme “The fight once morest water stress in Morocco: Achievements and prospects”, this meeting recorded the participation of a host of experts and academics specialized in the subject.

This conclave was marked by a rich exchange of data and ideas on the solutions capable of helping to deal with water stress thanks in particular to innovative initiatives and measures.

Thus, the participants highlighted the importance of concerted action by the various actors in order to deal with this problem by favoring in particular innovations and modern technologies in the field of water saving and reuse of wastewater. Likewise, they pleaded for the rationalization of groundwater and the preservation of groundwater.

Similarly, a deep and constructive discussion on water stress was engaged through two panels, namely, “Water Stress in Morocco: How did we get here? » and « Faced with water stress: What solutions to consider? “.

In addition, in addition to these discussion panels, this meeting recorded the organization of an interactive workshop which allowed participants to put into practice the ideas discussed in the panels by developing concrete social entrepreneurship projects aimed at meet the challenges of water stress in Morocco.

This meeting is part of the Ré_action programme, a collective initiative aimed at providing concrete help to particularly vulnerable populations, in particular the homeless, healthcare workers and isolated seniors.

The Ré_action program is developed by MAKESENSE in collaboration with associations and social enterprises with expertise in the field and useful solutions to implement.
