Rumors have been swirling around a film or series project dedicated to Diablo for several years. At one time, we even heard that it was Netflix who had picked up the baby. With the upcoming arrival of Diablo 4 on PC and consoles, it seems that the wait is coming to an end and that Blizzard intends to surf the release of the video game to expand its universe to the small (or large) screen. .
While video games were once synonymous with big crap in the cinema, it is clear that the situation has evolved in the right direction. If the Warcraft movie displeased some fans of the franchise, we are far from complete failure. With The Witcher, Netflix hit the bullseye and the success of the series led by Henry Cavill in the role of the Witcher is well established.
More recently, The Last of Us put (almost) everyone in agreement by introducing the universe created by Naughty Dog. I personally really enjoyed following the adventures of Joel and Ellie in this post-apocalyptic world.
But back to our demonic sheep. I invite you to discover below the first design images of the Diablo series or film. They were briefly posted on the Gamepress de Blizzard, the announcement therefore seems imminent. These posting errors are increasingly common, whether on YouTube channels or through ads that appear in Asia before a game is announced.
The first image shows a village that appears to have been attacked recently with several mountains in the background. The second clearly features a Demon Hunter. As for the third, it is an archangel but impossible to know who it is really. The 4th shows some kind of demon seen from behind with a citadel in the distance, while the last shows a village in fire and blood with the head of a half-Diablo half-something demon on the upper part.
