The Corbak Festival is back with a colorful poster. The organizers of the 27th edition announced this Wednesday the first two names that will perform during the opening night, Thursday May 25, 2023 on the stage of La Chaux-du-Milieu. The jack-of-all-trades of the French-speaking scene Albin de la Simone as well as Phanee De Pool accompanied by an orchestra will be there.
Albin de la Simone has already accompanied on stage the big names of French song like Jean-Louis Aubert, Alain Souchon or Vanessa Paradis. The fragility of his tone quickly led him to an intimate register. We will find him in 2023 in Corbak, with his seventh album.
The extraterrestrial Phanee De Pool is described as a “stage beast”. In five years, two albums and 300 scenes, Phanee de Pool “contemplates, is surprised and questions while drawing the spectators into his universe”. For the 27th edition of Corbak, she will be accompanied by a chamber orchestra, the Ensemble déCOUVRIR.
A new scene
This year, the Moultipass café-stage with fifty seats will be taken over by the festival. Finally, the ticket office is open on the festival website. /comm-cro
