Books – Abdel Fattah Al-Ajmi:

The artist, Tariq Al-Nahry, was released this followingnoon, Saturday, in implementation of the republican decision issued by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, bearing No. 329, to pardon a number of those convicted of judicial rulings, including Al-Nahry.

The writer Khaled Al-Balshi, through his account on the “Facebook” website, published a picture of the moment Tariq Al-Nahry left prison and his family and friends received him.

On February 23, 2019, the Cairo Criminal Court, held at the Police Academy, headed by Counselor Naji Shehata, sentenced the artist, Tariq Al-Nahry, and 9 others to life imprisonment, once morest the background of his accusation of involvement in burning the scientific complex, gathering, demonstrating and possessing firearms, before the Court of Cassation ruled, headed by Counselor Abdullah Asr, on July 4, 2020, by accepting the appeal submitted by “Al-Nahri” once morest the criminal court’s ruling, and their sentence was reduced to 15 years in prison.

The scientific complex caught fire during December 2011, and Tariq Al-Nahry was arrested in April 2012, on charges of involvement in the case.

The series “Taqqa Nour” was the last work of the artist Tariq Al-Nahry in 2017, directed by Raouf Abdel Aziz, written by Hassan Dahshan, and co-starring with the stars: Hanan Mutawa, Ihab Fahmy, Ashraf Abdel Ghafour, Jihan Khalil, Hedy Karam and others.
