The first Symposium on Medicine and Physical Activity was held in Escobar

In the Higher Education Pole (PES) of Ingeniero Maschwitz, more than 150 people participated in the first Symposium on Medicine and Physical Activity organized in the Escobar district, within the framework of the joint work of the Municipality with the Civil Association of Medicine of Sport of Buenos Aires (ACMDBA).

The meeting, which took place with free admission, had as its main objective to generate spaces for exchange between residents of the district and renowned professionals from different areas related to sports and health. In this sense, the day was made up of seven tables with more than 20 speakers, including doctors Néstor Lentini (Sports Medicine specialist) and Luis Barja (Head of Electrophysiology at Hospital Austral).

Finally, topics such as pediatrics and sports, nutrition, traumatology and cardiology, neurosciences and psychology, biomechanics in the prevention of injuries in recreational and competitive physical activity, among others, were also addressed.
