Arrived in a trade from the Ravens last season, Orlando Brown will not leave Kansas City in the spring. According to ESPN, the Chiefs have decided to place their franchise tag on the offensive lineman.
Brown is the first free agent to receive the franchise tag this year. The deadline for using this option is this Tuesday at 10 p.m.
The 25-year-old has started every game for Kansas City this past season at left tackle. He was selected for the Pro Bowl for the third time in his career.
Brown was a third-round pick by Baltimore in 2018. The Chiefs picked him up against four draft picks, including a first-round pick.
