With the presentation of Apple Vision Prothe Cupertino giant is entering a new market: augmented/virtual reality headsets.
taking advantage of hype upon launch, the manufacturer Tire Workfamous for making leather accessories for iPhones, Apple Watches, AirPods and AirTags, took care of to present the first product dedicated to the device.
It’s a headband — made of leather, of course. According to the manufacturer, the accessory is handmade in Germany, from high-quality Italian leather. It can be purchased in five different colors: brown, gray, creme, gray/orange e for that.
It is worth noting that the version that will be sold with the product will be made with a fabric, in order to allow greater comfort to the users of the product. As BandWerk’s product will be made of leather, users will need to be extra careful in handling it.
In addition to the leather strap itself, a “Light Seal” — component to be attached just behind the lenses —, made of fabric and in the corresponding color chosen, will be part of the package.
The product can be ordered in early 2024 (when the Apple Vision Pro will be available in the US) and will cost US$160. Is this the beginning of a lucrative new accessory market for an Apple product? Only time will tell… ⏳
