The first wind turbines in Carinthia are turning – Carinthia

Lavamünd/Klagenfurt – The energy service provider “Kelag” opened the first wind farm in Carinthia on the Steinberger Alpe and on the Soboth on Saturday. The wind farm comprises eight wind turbines with a total output of 26 MW. According to Kelag, this wind farm will generate around 60 million kWh of electricity per year, which corresponds to the needs of 17,000 Carinthian households.
