The five members are Sister Lucía Caram, Roser Tiana, Cristina Fàbregas, Marta Unzué and Susana Monje.

The group, named after the first woman to be a member of Barça, also explains: “The group has worked to overcome some of the challenges we understand to be vital. Since 2011, actions have been promoted to raise the profile of Barcelona women. , to encourage their participation in the club, to recover the historical memory of the members of Barça and to promote actions of social responsibility for equality, the high percentage of women members and supporters clubs, the vast family participation and the search for Equality in our society makes it essential for women’s participation in equality to permeate the club’s strategic decisions. “.

This working group was created by the board in 2011 at the request of the two women who were members at the time, former economic vice president Susana Monje and Pilar Guinovart. “The aim of the group is to recover the historical memory of the Barcelona woman, to vindicate the role of the members, to promote the prominence of women in the club and to reflect on the role of women in sport”, according to on the club’s website.
