The fox caught on the ice in Montreal should be saved on Sunday

A rescue operation will take place on Sunday to help the fox stuck for 12 days on the ice of the Old Port of Montreal.

Sauvetage Animal Rescue, the organization responsible for the rescue, intends to carry out a more elaborate operation to rescue the fox in question.

In the last days, a cage with food inside had been installed near the beast, but without success.

A total of 15 rescuers and a team of divers will be on the ground on Sunday to complete this delicate operation, which should last several hours.

According to the organization, this would be the first rescue of a fox on the ice of the Old Port.
