“The Fox” with film talk

GMUNDEN. Just a few days after the Austrian premiere of “The Fox”, the film can be seen on Monday, January 16 at 7 p.m. in the Stadtkino Gmunden. The Kulturinitiative 08/16 also invites you to a film talk with director and screenwriter Adrian Goiginger.

“The Fox” is the true story of Franz Streitberger, Adrian Goiginger’s great-grandfather. The motorcycle courier of the Austrian Armed Forces is integrated into the Wehrmacht with the connection. At the beginning of the Second World War, the introverted young soldier met a wounded fox cub, which he cared for like his own child and took with him to occupied France. Through this strange friendship with the animal, his own past as a rejected farmer’s son, from which he has always run away, slowly catches up with him.

With the touching, true story of Franz Streitberger, who finds a real friend in his fox, the director opens up a new perspective on this time of fear and deprivation. You can see young star Simon Morzé, Karl Markovics and Alexander Beyer, among others.

Advance tickets are available at www.ki-0816.at, in the Poetenblau bookstore, in the cinema and in the Gmunden Citizens’ Service Office. Remaining tickets at the box office half an hour before the start of the film. Tips is giving away 3×2 tickets for the film including the film talk.
