The emergency due to insecurity dictated in the Trujillo province does not stop the actions of criminal organizations. Relatives of a young university student reported that criminals kidnapped the student last Friday and are demanding payment of S / 1 million for his ransom.

The case

Marco Negreiros Castilloa student of the industrial engineering career, would have been kidnapped on Friday night in the El Milagro town center, in Huanchaco.

Hipólito Negreiros, father of the 22-year-old, said his son was in a car when a truck blocked his way. The kidnappers would have been disguised as policemen.

“On Friday he left the house, I was on a trip and his mother tells me that at around 8 at night his girlfriend called her saying that (Marco) has been kidnapped by four people, two in police vests and two civilian. They got him out of the car that he was driving, they put him in a four by four that had a Police logo and they took him, according to the version of the lover. After looking for Marco all night on Friday, early Saturday morning they denounced the incident in the Trujillo Criminal Investigation Division. In the afternoon, the gangsters contacted the family and demanded payment of S/ 1 million.

The head of the Divincri La Libertad, Colonel Giovanni Osorio, reported that a police team is already investigating this case. He added that they are collecting videos from security cameras in the area and trying to trace the possible route that the thugs made.
