There are people for Luca’s funeral. Family, parents, friends, fans who came on their own initiative or through their school, many people made the trip to say goodbye to the 22-year-old young man, probably killed by his mother’s ex-companion, on 2 February in Jupille, near Liège. The doors of the funeral home were closed on Monday in Beyne-Heusay because of the world: the room was full. About 200 people gathered around the coffin in intense emotion.
During the ceremony, which was intended to be brief and sober, various people spoke and pieces of music were played. Then, Luca’s body was moved and accompanied to the Sainte-Walburge cemetery in Liège where he will be buried, surrounded by all those who loved him and his community that he cherished so much.
Luca’s death has indeed shaken an entire community. Passionate about breakdancing, he was a social media superstar followed by more than 1.6 million people, especially on the TikTok platform.
