“Haaland and Mbappe will win the Ballon d’Or one day,” Messi said on the sidelines of receiving the Ballon d’Or.
He added: “Erling deserves it very much as well. He won the Premier League and the Champions League while being a top scorer in everything. This award could have been yours today as well. I’m sure you will win it in the coming years.”
