The Saudi Railways “Sar” is working on building a very advanced railway linking Riyadh with the western region.
This line, which is estimated to be the most developed, will be a high addition to the railway network linking the east, west, and north of the Kingdom.
And if high-speed trains are used, the journey time between Riyadh and Jeddah will be reduced to only two hours.
The land bridge is one of the major projects included in the National Strategy for Transportation and Logistics Services, which was launched by His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the project is sponsored by him.
