After the launch of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and GeForce RTX 4060, Nvidia must ensure that the 16 GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti, released with “only” 8 GB video. This model with 16 GB of memory is intended to satisfy users who feel that the 8 GB model is not enough for upcoming games or for specific applications such as video editing or AI training.
The official launch would therefore be scheduled for July 18, according to @MEGAsizeGPU accustomed to leaking the launch dates of Nvidia products. For our part, we have learned that the GPU designer will not distribute test copies to the press and will thus leave it to its partners (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte etc.) to promote this model.
The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB will therefore be available on July 18 from €549; however, due to the lack of a Founders Edition model, free partner manufacturers could offer much more expensive models, to the detriment of the performance/price ratio which would then be favorable to the GeForce RTX 4070.
