Expenditure emissions for compensation stood at nearly 24.09 billion dirhams (billion dirhams) at the end of November 2023, down 21.5% compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the General Treasury. of the Kingdom (TGR).
These emissions represent an achievement rate of 90.6% of the total forecasts of the 2023 Finance Law, indicates the TGR in its recent monthly bulletin of public finance statistics (BMSFP). The operating expenses issued were 246.2 billion dirhams, including 137.8 billion dirhams for salaries and wages which recorded an increase of 3.3%.
Expenditure on materials increased by 12.6% to 57.7 billion dirhams and expenditure on common charges fell by 5.2% to 40.6 billion dirhams, due in particular to the 21.5% reduction in emissions from the compensation (24.1 billion dirhams).
The share of the general budget in tax refunds, reliefs and refunds fell by 3.2% due to the increase in corporate tax refunds (1.32 billion dirhams) and the drop in tax refunds. VAT inside (8.31 billion dirhams).
