The first round of the PGA Championship golf major started almost two hours later today due to freezing weather. Temperatures at Rochester’s Oak Hill Country Club dropped below freezing overnight and the grass was covered in hoarfrost in the morning. Entry to the course was therefore prohibited and golfers might not practice.
