The platform Crunchyroll issued a press release informing that the movie of the franchise of Gotoubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) will hit theaters in Latin America, beginning with Mexico on February 23, 2023. The tape will be available both in Japanese with Spanish subtitles, and with a Latin Spanish dubbing.
Additionally, the press release reported that projections of the film are confirmed in the countries of Peru and Chile, but with dates to be confirmed. Other Latin American countries in which the film will be released will be announced soon. «The anime has captured the hearts of fans around the world. We are delighted to bring the conclusion of the story to audiences who are eagerly awaiting to find out which of the five sisters captures Futaro’s heart.“, mentions Mitchel BergerSenior Vice President of Global Trade on Crunchyroll.
It should be noted that the platform had already made a previous press release listing the countries in which the distribution of the feature film had been decided, but nowhere did it list Latin America. Fortunately, this statement then fixes the previous one, so fans can now breathe easy. However, the Gotoubun no Hanayome tape has already been leaked in excellent quality from Japanese media, so the box office performance may not be as expected as a result.
On the other hand, Negi Haruba published the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha between August 2017 and February 2020, with a total of fourteen compiled volumes. The work inspired two anime seasons and a film that ended the story, produced by the studios Tezuka Production (first season) and Bibury Animation Studios (second season and movie).

Sinopsis de Gotoubun no Hanayome the Movie
As a part-time tutor, Fuutarou is given the task of guiding the five beautiful girls, who are “about to fail” and “hate studies”, to “graduation”. Fuutarou struggles to prepare for the school festival while keeping an eye on Ichika’s studies, who has decided to take a leave of absence to focus on acting, and Yotsuba is even more determined than usual to make it a unapologetic school festival. Fast-paced days go by, and before you know it, it’s the eve of the school festival.
Fuutarou is encouraged by Itsuki’s decision not to give up, and searches for answers to Nino’s feelings, Miku’s determination, and his feelings for Ichika, Yotsuba, and Itsuki. With each of them having their own thoughts and feelings, the first day of the school festival, the last event of his high school life, finally began. “Come to the classroom at 15:00, the first day of the school festival.” The quintuplets gather in the classroom and Fuutarou finally informs them that he will make a decision…
