The government denies stopping the provision of health insurance services to women breadwinners

The Media Center of the Council of Ministers revealed that in light of the reported news regarding the issuance of a decision to stop providing health insurance services to female breadwinners, the Center contacted the Ministry of Health and Population, which denied the news, stressing that there is no truth to stop providing health insurance services to female breadwinners, and that no health insurance services have been taken. Taking any decisions in this regard, stressing the continuation of providing all health insurance services for female breadwinners – who are registered at the Ministry of Social Solidarity and receive one of its pensions – as a legal entitlement that cannot be canceled or stopped, pointing to the increase in health insurance support allocations for female breadwinners by 14.8% in the general budget The new 2022/2023 budget will reach 93 million pounds, compared to 81 million pounds in 2021/22.
