Repudiation of Burkinabè nationality: the government gives details
Ouagadougou, July 15, 2022(AIB)-The Ministry in charge of Justice explained on Friday that it had allowed 27 people to “repudiate” their
Burkinabè nationality, because their adopted countries do not allow dual nationality.
In a press release, the Ministry of Justice assures that the Burkinabè who have renounced their nationality “have remained faithful to the love of their country of birth”.
The text adds that those concerned have been able to make “significant contributions to the development of Burkina Faso”.
