Giorgis Stivaktakis comes from a musical family as two more of his brothers are great luthiers (Christos and Nikos). Their father, Stathis, was a lead dancer in a band of the Vorizians.
In 1981, the first record work of Giorgis Stivaktakis “I Was Judged to Love You” took place. The collaboration of the brothers began with the second record work “Cretan Company”, in collaboration with their fellow villager Manolis Faragoulitakis, in Askomantoura, and Thiapoli.
