The Guatemalan Senior National Team signs its qualification for the 2024 Softball World Cup
The Guatemalan senior softball team qualified for the 2024 World Cup, after achieving its fourth victory in the Senior Pan American Championship, which is held in Sincelejo, Colombia.

In a game not for the faint of heart, The Guatemalan team needed the victory against Colombia to secure its place, in a duel that won 6-5 in extra extras. The game was played on Thursday night.
With one day left in the qualifying phase, Guatemala is in fourth position with four wins against Panama (7-5), Cuba (7-2), Costa Rica (6-5) and Colombia and two defeats against Honduras 5-7 and Argentina 0-10.
LThe first phase of the 2024 World Cup will be held between May and June, in three venues, in Oklahoma in the United States, Price Albert in the United States and Hermosillo in Mexico.
Guatemala continued this Friday with the qualifying phase, when it faced Venezuela, at the Eduardo Porras Arrazola diamond in Sincelejo, Colombia. The national team fell 10-0 against the Venezuelans.
“Many thanks to all the members of the national team, both the coaching staff and the players and delegates for the effort and dedication in Sincelejo to be able to give us this joy”was the message from the Softball Federation on its social networks.
