Until the weekend, Kfar Azza was an 800-inhabitant kibbutz in southern Israel that might be described as idyllic, apart from the regular rocket alarms. On Sunday the settlement resembled a battlefield. Israeli army troops fought fiercely with terrorists from the Gaza Strip who had penetrated the border barrier the day before and carried out massacres in villages and towns near the border fence.
