The National Autonomous Federation (Fenafuth) confirmed this Monday morning that the Honduran national team will leave Miami, United States, at 1:00 in the afternoon heading to San Pedro Sula, where it will arrive just hours before the match against Curaçao by LLeague of Nations.
The Bicolor set off the alarms by not being able to leave the island of Curaçao after playing against that country’s team for the League of Nations last Friday and it was until Sunday night that they managed to travel to Miami to continue their journey to Honduran territory .
“The Honduran team will travel by charter flight to the national territory this Monday, June 6, at 1:00 pm (Florida),” Fenafuth authorities confirmed.
They also clarified that the “The game against the Curaçao team will maintain its date of completion, as indicated in the League of Nations calendar.”
Although they did not specify at what time the national cast would arrive, it is estimated that between 1:00 and 2:00 in the afternoon they would be arriving on the catracho ground.
THEY TURNED ON THE ALARMS
Given the problem, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contacted the Honduran Soccer Federation (Fenafuth) and by order of President Xiomara Castro made available the presidential plane, which was ready to travel to Curaçao.
Fenafuth maintained communication with Concacaf, which is the organizer of the League of Nations tournament, and they decided not to opt for government aid, in addition to the fact that the presidential plane does not have the capacity – in number – to fly with the entire delegation of the National Team.
