The IIconics leave the world of wrestling

It is through a press release that Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay have just announced their departure from Impact Wrestling as well as their retirement from the rings 6 months after their arrival in the federation to devote themselves to other projects. Prior to joining Impact Wrestling, those who now call themselves The IInspiration were known as the IIconics in WWE where they remained from 2015 to 2021. During their career, they were Tag Team Champions in WWE and Impact Wrestling more recently.

“Former IMPACT Wrestling World Knockouts Tag Team Champions The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) confirmed today that they are stepping away from all in-ring activity indefinitely.

“The IInspirations have been an important part of the IMPACT Knockouts roster and have been wonderful to be around,” said Scott D’Amore, Executive Vice President of IMPACT. “Cassie and Jessie are incredibly talented performers. Everyone at IMPACT wishes them much success in the future.”

The IInspiration released a joint statement: “We would like to thank Scott D’Amore and the entire IMPACT family. We have had an incredible experience, working with the incredible Impact team and roster. We will cherish these memories of IMPACT forever. We look forward to starting a new chapter in our lives and exploring other opportunities that may come our way.”
