But Russian state media – the only ones now authorized in Russia – continue to demonize Ukraine and the West. In the sights of Russian propaganda: an alleged arms trade between Ukraine and Hamas, the flight of Russian opponents to Israel and so-called “fake” Western media reports of massacres committed by Hamas in the Israeli kibbutz. Inside the country, hate speech from Russian propagandists supports an official position which aims to be peaceful on the international scene.
