The Kuwaiti diplomat, Abdullah Bishara, appeared in an interview during the Middle East Programme, saying: “The United Nations entered into an unimaginable panic. He added, “The one who benefited from this decision was President Houari Boumediene, President of Algeria from 1976 to 1978 AD. The Algerian president arrived and requested that a special session of the United Nations be held in the name of the session to declare the new global economic order.”
He continued, explaining: “He was received at the airport and was told at the time, ‘I do not imagine the Gulf people, especially Sheikh Zayed, punishing America and placing sanctions on it.’”
Abdullah Bishara referred to the countries that stopped oil from America and Europe, which are (Saudi Arabia – the Emirates – Kuwait), while the rest of the country only declared it without stopping.
