ABU DHABI, 22nd July, 2020 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Police organized the “Bashayer Al-Qaiz” initiative at the Punitive and Correctional Institution Department in Al Ain, with the participation of the Rehabilitation and Reformation Department and the Ambassadors of Happiness, with the aim of introducing the importance of the palm tree and taking pride in it, its characteristics and advantages, and recalling the joy of the countrymen at the time of harvesting dates and agricultural summer products in the country.
Brigadier General Ahmed Masoud Al Mazrouei, Director of the Community Security Sector, emphasized Abu Dhabi Police’s interest in implementing its strategic priorities, which aim to enhance security and safety, community happiness, responsibility and community participation within its activities in the work environment for its employees, considering happiness as a way of life in the UAE community.
Brigadier General Faisal Issa Al Hammadi, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Directorate, explained that the initiative comes within the efforts of the community security sector to provide the appropriate environment to achieve the highest levels of job happiness.
Lieutenant-Colonel Saeed Abdullah Al-Hassani, Deputy Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Al Ain, pointed out the Abu Dhabi Police’s interest in the customs, values and heritage, and introducing the employees to the agricultural products that the UAE is famous for in the summer.
