Died on October 3, 2021, the former president of Marseille left a debt of 660 million euros to his family according to information from RTL. 143 million euros have already been reimbursed. This sum comes from the sale of a Parisian hotel, a villa in Saint-Tropez, but also from the newspaper Provence. His wife, Dominique Tapie, must repay this debt in full. According to French radio, about 90,000 euros in interest are added to the debt daily.
