The Jazz will meet Frank Vogel

After having recorded the departure of Quin Snyder, the management of Jazz is now looking at the profile of his successor. As embodied by Ime Udoka in Boston, Willie Green in New Orleans or Chauncey Billups in Portland, to name but a few, the trend is towards renewal and the search for “new faces”.

A first list of names was unveiled to this effect by Adrian Wojnarowskiand it includes only two former coaches, from the Western Conference moreover: Terry Stotts and Frank Vogel.

For the rest, the Salt Lake City franchise has therefore received authorization from the franchises to speak with the following assistants: Johnnie Bryant (Knicks), Will Hardy (Celtics), Kevin Young (Suns), Chris Quinn (Heat) , Adrian Griffin (Raptors), Charles Lee (Bucks) and Joe Mazzulla (Celtics).

Added to this list are Alex Jensen and Lamar Skeeter. Jazz assistants.

However, the searches and options enabled by the Jazz are said to be in their infancy, and the list is expected to grow with new names, whether other assistants or former coaches. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the process might be “long and wide open”.
