The Judicial Branch of Río Negro implemented a virtual wallet that provides information on consumption and validation of loads through geopositioning and tank volume. The measure seeks greater transparency and better control of fuel consumption.
Resolution 531 of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) authorized the contracting with the YPF firm for the provision of fuel through the YPF Ruta program.

Among the foundations of the resolution, it was considered that the National Financial Administration Law No. 24,156 stipulates that the fuels and lubricants required by the jurisdictions and entities of the Public Administration must be contracted with YPF SA, a company that makes up the national public sector.
Currently, the fuel necessary for the vehicle fleet of the Judicial Branch is paid through the Directorate of Permanent Funds and at the pump beach value through the operation of fuel vouchers.
As the contract with YPF provides transparency and control in fuel consumption, the Judiciary chose to use the YPF Ruta program. The application optimizes time and resources through account self-management and advanced analytics tools. All information on the Judicial Branch fleet will be available to the General Administration sector from the web portal. From there a card is provided that is loaded in virtual mode to the application on each driver’s cell phone.
This allows certain amounts to be authorized and more exhaustive control to be carried out, which contributes to transparency in the use of public funds. Only the Administration can enable drivers from the self-management portal and charge the balance to their virtual wallet.
The STJ resolution highlights that the YPF Ruta program is a parameterizable tool that allows you to select individually and via the web the enabled products, daily and monthly consumption limits in pesos and other aspects of interest for each vehicle, while at the same time allowing you to obtain transaction information for the entire fleet, detailing day, time, service station, product, quantity, driver, optimizing expense control.
