The junior national team was eliminated from the Arab Cup in the quarter-finals after losing to Morocco

Egypt’s junior national team, led by its coach, Mohamed Wahba, bid farewell to the Arab U-17 Championship from the quarter-finals, following losing to the Moroccan team with two goals without a response.

The Moroccan team defeated its Egyptian counterpart with two goals without a response, in the meeting that brought the two teams together at Mostaganem Stadium on Friday evening, as part of the quarter-finals of the Arab Junior Cup.

Abdelhamid Maali scored the goal for the Moroccan team, before his colleague Hamza Al-Mutawakel added the second goal, to qualify the Atlantic Lions to the semi-finals of the Arab Junior Cup.

The Moroccan team is scheduled to face its Yemeni counterpart in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup, where the match will be held next Monday, while the Algerian team will meet its Saudi counterpart in the same round.
