SNK released a new character trailer for King of Fighters XV DLC character Najd, still slated for release in summer 2023. The trailer comes just weeks after the game’s previous update, version 1.92, introduced free DLC character Goenitz and crossplay. Additionally, the company unveiled its plans for EVO 2023.
Najd (voiced by Ayaka Fukuhara) is the four paid DLC character for King of Fighters XV Season 2. Her large array of neutral and aerial attacks make her a formidable threat, and Najd is able to drain her opponent’s health. The latest trailer for The King of Fighters XV shines a light on Najd and his moves while sharing insight into what his lore entails.
Following the release of Najd later this summer, two more DLC characters for King of Fighters XV are set to release in Fall and Winter 2023 respectively. Additionally, a brand new Fatal Fury / GAROU The title is “furiously” in development with playable fighters Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, and Joe Higashi.

Plans SNK pour l’EVO 2023
Shortly after the premiere of the new trailer, SNK revealed its plans for EVO 2023, which will take place August 4-6 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Along with the main tournament of King of Fighters XV, SNK will hold a booth with a demo corner dedicated to Najd. Players can try out the new DLC character before launch in the demo corner, which means Najd is expected to release sometime after EVO 2023 ends.
SNK’s EVO 2023 booth includes more than just the Najd demo corner, though. From August 4-5, fans visiting the booth can also win a free poster for the upcoming Fatal Fury/GAROU title and attend an autograph signing session with illustrator Eisuke Ogura from 2-3 PM PDT. Only the first 1,000 visitors will receive the new poster, and the first 100 visitors to the autograph session will receive a signed poster for Le match mondial King of Fighters XIII.
In addition, SNK will organize side tournaments for Samouraï Shodown et GAROU: Mark of Wolves at EVO 2023. The Samouraï Shodown parallel tournament will begin on August 4 at 11 a.m. PDT, and the GAROU: Mark of Wolves The parallel tournament will begin on August 5 at 11 a.m. PDT. A maximum of 128 participants can register for each title to participate in double elimination tournaments. 1st place wins $3,000, 2nd place wins $1,500, and 3rd place wins $500. Registration for both tournaments is now available on start.gg.
Lately, King of Fighters XV is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Windows, Steam and Epic Games Store.
