The Kremlin commented on the failure of the Sarmat missile tests for the first time

Putin’s spokesman assures that he knows nothing about the failure, which the whole world has been discussing for several days.

The Kremlin knows nothing about the resounding failure of the test launch of the RS-28 “Sarmat” intercontinental ballistic missile, which exploded right in a mine at the Plesetsk training ground.

This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmytro Peskov, his words are quoted by The Moscow Times.

We do not have any information about this. This, rather, is a question that belongs to the competence of our military. Therefore, I recommend applying there“, he said during the briefing.

It will be recalled that the intercontinental ballistic missile RS-28 “Sarmat”, designed to deliver a nuclear strike, exploded during a test the other day. Satellite images of the “Plesetsk” training ground recorded a huge crater at the place where the launch shaft should have been located.
