After missing five games with a groin injury, LeBron James returned to the court on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, and he helped the Lakers win 94-105 at San Antonio by scoring 21 points and taking 8 rebounds. In this one-sided game, Anthony Davis continued his momentum, with 25 points and 15 points, and the suspension of Patrick Beverley was not felt. Despite Tre Jones’ 19 points, San Antonio suffered a seventh straight loss after a strong start to the season. But the Spurs will have the opportunity to take their revenge on Saturday, by once again receiving the Lakers. At the top of the Western Conference, it is still Phoenix who reigns, after their 108-102 success over Detroit, which had just created the surprise by beating Denver and Utah. Denver and Memphis earn

Only one Pelicans player finished above 20 points: Trey Murphy III (21).
Stunning Boston and Milwaukee
The Eastern Conference, meanwhile, is still led by Boston, which signed its 15th victory in 19 games, against Sacramento: 122-104. Led by six points in the middle of the last quarter, the Celtics finished very strong, to have a 27-point lead a few minutes from the end. Jayson Tatum finished with 30 points and 8 rebounds and Jaylen Brown with 25 points. Milwaukee (2nd), meanwhile, won the clash against Cleveland (3rd) with a score of 117-102. While the Cavs led for almost two and a half quarters (+16 in the middle of the second quarter), the Bucks turned everything upside down, thanks in particular to a fiery third quarter, winning 35-10. Giannis Antotokounmpo was still excellent, with 38 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists on the clock, while Donovan Mitchell’s 29 points were not enough for the Cavs. Also noteworthy among the results of this Friday is Portland’s 132-129 victory against New York after overtime with 44 points from Jerami Grant (career record broken by one point) and 38 from Anfernee Simons, the defeat of Atlanta 128 -122 in Houston despite Trae Young’s 44 points, and Brooklyn’s 128-117 loss to Indiana despite Kevin Durant’s 39 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.
