The Lamplighters League, a new strategy game from Paradox Interactive and Harebrained Schemes, failed to generate enough sales to be considered a success. In fact, according to a Paradox press release, the game disappointed at SEK 248 million or approximately £18.5 million / €21.4 million. The game hasn’t seen a large number of players on either Xbox or PC, and there have been layoffs from Harebrained Schemes. Paradox isn’t quite ready to cut support for The Lamplighters League just yet, as some post-launch updates are planned, but don’t expect a big expansion with this one. Even with the potential of Xbox Game Pass, it seems to be largely a dud despite mostly positive reviews from players and critics.
