‘The Last Dance’ shirt sells for $10 million

Auctions Sothebyre revealed Thursday that a T-shirt of NBA legend Michael Jordan has been auctioned for $10 million.

Sotheby’s stated that Jordan’s shirt has become the most expensive sporting memorial in history, the shirt he wore in the first game in the NBA Finals series in 1998, the “Last Dance” season.

The Chicago Bulls won four games to two, to win the NBA title for the third time in a row.

Sotheby’s revealed that it had received regarding 20 offers to buy the shirt, while it did not reveal who had the highest bid of 10 million dollars for the shirt, which was estimated at five million dollars.
